현재의 세계선교계의 주도적 인물은 US Center for World Mission http://www.uscwm.org/ 의 Ralph D. Winter입니다. 이분의 미전도종족선교이론을 중심으로 태동한 단체가 The A.D. 2000 and Beyond Movement인데 이 운동의 핵이 되었던것은 Joshua Project 2000입니다. 하지만 2000년이 지나가면서 이운동은 중앙운동본부 사무실의 폐쇠와 함께 시대의 사명을 다하고 역사의 무대에서 사라져 갔습니다. 그후 Joshua Project 2000은 Joshua Project II http://www.joshuaproject.net/ 라는 이름으로 남아있읍니다. 미전도 종족과 개척선교이론은 아직도 UCWM을 중심으로 그분들의 사명을 감당하고있읍니다. 한국도 거의 이 영향권 아래 있다고 생각됩니다. 하지만 하나님께서 새로운 시대를 향한 새로운 혁명를 준비하고 계십니다. 제1혁명기가 지나고 제2의 혁명기에 들어섰읍니다. 이 혁명의 중앙에 David Joel Hamilton과 그의 팀 이 서있읍니다. 이 분은 YWAM의 최고 지도부인 GLT(Global Leadership Team) Taskforce의 멤버입니다. 4년동안의 준비기를거처 열광적인 GLT의 후원을 받으면서 4K Project http://www.ywamconnect.com/sites/4k/ 이란 이름을 가지고 작년 9월 싱가폴 YWAM국제 대회에서 처음으로 공식적인 발표회를 가진이후 YWAM안에서는 흥분을 감추지 못하는 반응들이 연쇠적으로 일어나고 있읍니다. 4K는 선교의 패라다임의 전환을 가져오게 될것입니다. 4K는 세계복음화 전략의 강력한 도구가 되어지리라 예상됩니다.
새로운 세대의 새로운 전략이 될 4k는 제가 에너지를 쏫고 있는 전략으로, 저희 단체의 최고전략가 이자 국제리더십의 한 분이신, 저의 표현으로는 로렌커닝햄의 또다른 두뇌라고 해도 과언이 아닌 데빗해밀턴의 작품입니다. 흥미있는 사실은 그분의 아버님이 교회성장과 미전도종족개념의 창설자인 도날드맥가브란의 스승이었다는 사실입니다. 4k는 세계선교전략사에서 향후 세대를향한 신선한 도전과 흥분을 가져다 줄 역사적 도구가 되어지리라 보여집니다.
4k는 이미 국제선교단체리더모임에서 채택이 되어졌고. 유명한 세계기독교백과사전의 주편집자인 토드 존슨의 적극적인 후원을 받고 있습니다.

08/98 GLC Fortaleza – GLT announces 7-fold job description of the spiritual eldership
09/98 - 1999 DJH processes integrated/holistic paradigms for 4k based upon 44 month travel to 137 YWAM bases in 91 countries in developing world.
2000 GLT creates 7 task force groups, each focused on one of the 7 points of the GLT job description. Further development of new BLNI/SLNI/THNI paradigm for an integrated/holistic approach to missions with emerging data from Todd Johnson.
2001 THNI info communicated to South/Central Asia Field, Table 71, Joint Asia & Pacific Field, U of N International workshop in Africa.
09/01-06/02 GLT DTV Task Force meets 4 times to further develop concepts foundational to 4k framework.
08/02 GLT in Nanning; adopts 4K prototype with signing of Nanning Covenant. Task Force mandated to proceed with 4K development.
10/02-06/03 DTV Task Force meets 4 more times for refining research and engagement with mapping process.
08/03 Vision Task Force meets for 9th time in Singapore; 4K Framework presented to GLT in Singapore – book with all Omega Zones handed out to every GLT member. First interactive maps of one YWAM region completed with 20 some pieces of demographic data per Omega Zone within that region
09/03 4K is keynote message at UofN Synergy in Singapore

11/03 First full set of 4K maps of the world completed; upgs of China incorporated into 4K Framework
